معركة بقاء يخوضها أهالي "بني سعد" بالمحويت في رحلة البحث عن قطرة ماء

يعاني سكان مديرية بني سعد محافظة المحويت، الذين يعيشون خارج دائرة اهتمامات الجهات المختصة،
شحة في مياه الشرب مما ينذر بحدوث كارثة إنسانية.يتقاطر الأهالي، من الأطفال والنساء،
من القرى والمناطق الجبلية التي نضبت فيها المياه ويقطعون مسافات بعيدة وطرقا ترابية جبلية وعرة بحثا عن الماء.
لم تنته معاناة أهالي بني سعد عند إيجاد عين تملؤها المياه..
ولكن هنا تبدأ مشقة الانتظار لساعات طويلة، يلتقي فيها الليل بالنهار ولايزال طابور المساربين من الأطفال والنساء مزدحما.
. كل ينتظر دوره لملء وعائه بالماء، ثم تأتي المرحلة الثالثة بعد ذلك: حمل أوعية الماء فوق رؤوسهم وعلى ظهور الحمير، منهم تحت أشعة الشمس الحارقة، وآخرون في ظلام الليل الدامس إلى منازلهم البعيدة.
وناشدت الناشطة فاطمة المحيا في تصريح لوكالة خبر، قيادة السلطة المحلية بمحافظة المحويت وكل المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية والمحلية العاملة في المجال الإنساني، وضع حد لمعاناة النساء والأطفال وإيجاد حل جذري لمشكلة انعدام المياه وصعوبة الحصول عليها.
ودعت المحيا هذه الجهات والمنظمات إلى تحمل مسؤولياتها والقيام بواجبها الإنساني وسرعة التدخل لإنقاذ حياة الناس من المعاناة التي يتجرعونها مرارا في فصل الشتاء، وخاصة في سنوات الجفاف والتي تندر فيها بسقوط الأمطار. ,

In an interview with the news agency, Fatima Al-Mahaya appealed to the leadership of the local authority in Al-Mahweet and all international, regional and local humanitarian organizations to put an end to the suffering of women and children and to find a radical solution to the problem of water shortage and difficulty in obtaining it.
She called on these bodies and organizations to assume their responsibilities and carry out their humanitarian duty and the quick intervention to save people from the suffering they are often subjected to in the winter, especially in the drought years, which are rare in the rains. ,
